Little Simz to release career-spanning journal ‘the *book’
The release will be out on 24th May.
Little Simz has shared news of a brand new non-musical project: ‘the *book’ is described as “a journal redesigned into a coffee table book”, and it will be released on 24th May.
The release will feature “moments and thoughts transcribed into pages, pictures, textures and colours”, representing the course of the 29-year-old London rapper’s life up until this point.
It is the latest project from the prolific artist, whose most recent album ‘No Thank You’ came out in December 2022, just fifteen months after her BRIT, Mercury, MOBO and Ivor Novello award-winning 2021 album ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’.
Her most recent major appearance came at this year’s British Academy Film Awards ceremony, where she performed ‘Heart On Fire’, accompanied by Joan Armatrading.
Simz is also set to appear in the final series of Netflix drama series ‘Top Boy’ later this year.
‘the *book’ will be available to order on Little Simz’ website.
