Willie J Healey shares new track ‘Woke Up Smiling’
It’s the final preview of his forthcoming new album ‘Bunny’, due out next month.
Willie J Healey has shared a final preview of his forthcoming new album ‘Bunny’. His new track ‘Woke Up Smiling’ boasts a real positivity, and lands in the midst of the singer’s current touring run with Arctic Monkeys.
“I wrote this during a glorious period of my life,” Willie has said of the track. “I was living in a studio flat in Bristol, it had these huge sash windows which let huge amounts of morning sun in. I’d make coffee and sit with my guitar & cat, I’m pretty sure my cat helped me write that song.”
The track follow previous singles ‘Little Sister’, ‘Thank You’ and ‘Dreams’ and gets taken from his third album ‘Bunny’, which is due for release on 25th August. Check out ‘Woke Up Smiling’, and remind yourself of Willie’s upcoming tour dates, below.
