The Hives release new single ‘Countdown to Shutdown’

The Hives have released their newest single ‘Countdown to Shutdown’. Watch the video, directed by SNASK, below.
It is the second taste of the Swedish band’s upcoming album ‘The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons’, which comes out on 11st August via FUGA. The previous single was ‘Bogus Operandi’.
Speaking about ‘Countdown to Shutdown’, vocalist Pelle Almqvist has said, “The countdown to the financial collapse? The countdown to the weekend bender you’ve been waiting for? The band are currently in the middle of a UK and European tour supporting Arctic Monkeys, including three dates at Emirates Stadium in London on 16th, 17th and 18th June. They will play a string of European headline shows in August, before heading to North America at the end of October.
‘The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons’ will be garage rockers’ sixth studio album.
