Spider details new EP ‘Hell or High Water’

The Dublin-born, London-based musician Spider has announced the details of her new EP. ‘Hell or High Water’ will be released on 27th April. In addition, Spider has shared her new single, ‘Growing Into It’, which will feature on the EP alongside previous single ‘America’s Next Top Model’, which was released in March. Spider says that ‘Growing Into It’ was written, “loosely around the concept of men using women as social capital to make themselves look cooler, smarter, better than they actually are.” She was raised in the Dublin suburb of Tallaght in a strictly Nigerian-Catholic household, which banned her from going to gigs. Instead, she invested in the online music world, finding her own voice, and after moving to London aged 18, she wrote the songs that made up her debut mixtape ‘C.O.A.’.
