Remi Wolf shares new single ‘Prescription

It is set to be included in the new show ‘I’m a Virgo’.

Remi Wolf has shared her first new music of 2023 in the form of the single ‘Prescription’.

The song is co-produced by Wolf alongside Solomonophonic and Knox Fortune.

The song emerged from a phone conversation between Wolf and Boots Riley, the frontman of hip-hop group The Coup, and director of the film ‘Sorry to Bother You’.

Wolf has explained, “A few months ago, Boots Riley called me and we spoke about his new tv show ‘I’m a Virgo’. 24 hours later this song was created, inspired by that conversation and it is being featured in the tv show out this summer. I loved it so much that I wanted to release it and share it with you all as a special little something.”

The Californian musician released her debut album ‘Juno’ in 2021 via Island Records.

She recently performed at Coachella and South by Southwest, and is set to appear at Governors Ball, Bonnaroo and Newport Folk Festival later in the summer.

Wolf has also contributed a cover of Nat King Cole’s ‘Autumn Leaves’ to an upcoming National Geographic documentary, ‘A Small Light’, about the life of Miep Giles, who helped hide Anne Frank’s family during WW2.
