Paul McCartney shares ‘Fuh You’ video and adds more US dates
The Freshen Up tour will continue through June 2019.
Paul McCartney released his new album ‘Egypt Station’ last week, and has now shared a new video for its recent single ‘Fuh You’.
The Ryan Tedder-produced track now has a new black-and-white clip that documents young love in the Beatle’s hometown of Liverpool.
Macca spoke to us recently - in an exclusive DIY interview - about working with the OneRepublic man on the single.
“There’s always a little thing that sparks these things off,” he said of the collaboration. “It’s not like I’m going around, checking the internet for who to work with next. There’s always a little occurrence.
“So I’d been working with Greg [Kurstin] who’s the main producer. I had a couple of weeks off but I was itching to keep going. My manager said, why don’t you try someone else? I liked the idea of Ryan and I listened to [Beyoncé’s] ‘Halo’ that he was part of.”
Paul McCartney’s ‘Freshen Up’ tour for 2019 has also been extended, adding new US dates. He’ll play UK arena shows this December.
