Nova Twins remix Sam Smith & Kim Petras’ ‘Unholy’
Amy Love and Georgia South have given the track a dark new edge.
There’s little doubt that Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ track ‘Unholy’ is one of the biggest bangers of 2022, and now it’s been given another new lease of life in the form of a remix by rock duo of the moment, Nova Twins.
The band - who were shortlisted for the 2022 Mercury Prize with FREE NOW for their second album ‘Supernova’ - have reworked the track to give it a new deliciously dark edge.
Speaking of the track, and their remix, the duo have said: “When we heard ‘Unholy’ we thought it’s such a banger we have to remix it! It’s a dark, sexy tune, reminiscent of the noughties R&B sound that we all know and love. The beat and percussion on the original is so killer, it drives the track and was asking for some big riffs and screams Nova style!”
Their remix lands ahead of the band’s forthcoming UK and Ireland tour, which is set to take placein February 2023 and will feature Witch Fever and Uninvited as support.
