MGMT announce European tour including London show

The band’s new album ‘Little Dark Age’ is out early next year.

Back in October, MGMT made their return with ‘Little Dark Age’, the title track from their upcoming new album.

The record is set for release early next year, and the band have now plotted a short European tour for the start of 2018, with a London date nicely nestled at the end.

The run will begin in Berlin on 30th January, finishing up at Electric Brixton in London on 6th February.

‘Little Dark Age’ is, as we wrote upon its release, “a tread into darker territory. Sure, the synths are shimmering, the pair still bring out a melodic earworm of a hook and there’s a semi-baroque breakdown, but the underlying tone is often gloomier.

“Andrew in particular cuts a solitary figure in the chorus, as he sings in an almost deadpan manner that “you’ll see me standing all alone” on the stage, or saying that “the feelings start to rot / One week at a time”.”

JANUARY
30 Berlin, Huxleys

FEBRUARY
02 Amsterdam, Paradiso
03 Brussels, AB
