MGMT and Real Estate join Mad Cool 2018 bill
Queens of the Stone Age and Future Islands have already been announced.
MGMT and Real Estate are the latest additions to next year’s Mad Cool Festival line-up.
MGMT, of course, recently confirmed their comeback, unleashing the title track for their forthcoming fourth studio album, ‘Little Dark Age’, the follow-up to 2013’s self-titled record.
The bands join Queens of the Stone Age and Future Islands at the Madrid event, which will take place between 12th and 14th July at the city’s Valdebebas-IFEMA venue.
In addition to the change of location for the 2018 edition, Mad Cool will also expand to seven stages, and a capacity of 80,000.
2018 will mark the third year for the Spanish weekender, which played host to the likes of Foo Fighters, Green Day, Kings of Leon, alt-J and Savages this summer.
DIY will, once again, be joining Mad Cool Festival for the event as media partners, so keep your eyes peeled for news, previews and reports in the lead up to the event.
