Little Simz shares ‘No Thank You’ film
It follows last year’s LP ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’.
Fresh from releasing her latest album ‘No Thank You’ last week, Little Simz has now shared an accompanying short film which features five of the record’s ten tracks.
The release of her ‘No Thank You’ short film follows on from the album’s surprise release last week, which followed on from the singer winning the 2022 Mercury Prize with FREE NOW for her fourth album ‘Sometimes, I Might Be Introvert’.
The new eleven-minute clip comes directed by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Gabriel Moses, and was shot outside the Chateau de Millemont in Paris. It features the tracks ‘Heart on Fire’, ‘X’, ‘Silhouette’, ‘Sideways’ and ‘Broken’.
Speaking about the collaboration, Gabriel Moses has said: “I have a proper appreciation for Simz’s music and as a person she’s a real humble soul; deserves all the success there is to receive. I’m blessed to collaborate with her on an honest project like ‘No Thank You’. Love to everyone who worked on the film, without them it doesn’t happen so credit to all of them.”
