Jazmin Bean offers up new track ‘Favourite Toy’
They’ve also announced plans for a full UK and European tour, set to take place this autumn.
Jazmin Bean has offered up their newest track, ‘Favourite Toy’, a crystalline synth-driven offering which delves into toxic relationships.
Speaking about the track, Jazmin has said: “It looks back at my relationship with love and sex with a storytelling perspective, exploring the lengths you’ll go to when you’re conditioned from such a young age not to understand what love is. Unlike my older songwriting, this track juxtaposes sound, production and lyrics. It acknowledges the sadness I felt in my self-worth, but the song’s driving melody has an overall sense of hopefulness and catharsis.”
‘Favourite Toy’ follows on from their previously single ‘Piggie’, which land earlier this year and their debut EP ‘Worldwide Torture’, which was released back in 2020. A new video for the track - filmed in LA and directed by Bean themselves - will land later today (at 5pm BST).
And that’s not all: Jazmin has also announced plans for a series of UK and European shows, set to kick off next month. Hear ‘Favourite Toy’ below, and scroll down for their full list of tour dates.
