Foo Fighters have announced plans to release a brand new album, ‘But Here We Are’, which is due to be released on 2nd June via Roswell Records/Columbia Records.
Their new record will be their eleventh, and will follow on from 2021’s ‘Medicine at Midnight’. It will also mark the release of their first new material since the passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins last March.
Produced by Greg Kurstin, alongside the band, the ten-track album is - according to a press release - set to be a “brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year. ‘But Here We Are’ is a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family.”
The band have also shared its first single, ‘Rescued’, which you can hear now. Check out the tracklisting and listen to its opening track below.

Last year, Foo Fighters halted all touring plans following the untimely passing of Taylor Hawkins in March. The band then performed two huge tribute concerts in Los Angeles and London in September, to celebrate his memory and legacy. Those shows boasted appearances from the likes of Liam Gallagher, AC/DC, Metallica, Paul McCartney, Blink 182’s Travis Barker and many more. The band will play a handful of festivals this summer, including appearances at Boston Calling, Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park, among others.
