Taking place from 3rd-6th July at the unique location of Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport, Open’er Festival 2024 is already shaping up to be one for the books.

They’ve recently added even more new names to the lineup, who join the three already-announced headliners: pop-rap phenomenon Doja Cat; the incredible rock icons Foo Fighters, who’ll play off the back of their recent album ‘But Here We Are’; and global superstar Dua Lipa, who’s just released her earworm new single ‘Houdini’. For the next iteration, Doja will be taking to the Orange Main Stage on Friday 5th July, following the Foos headlining set on Wednesday 3rd July, and Dua’s on Thursday 4th July.

Among the recent additions are Grammy winner 21 Savage; viral star Ice Spice; pop mainstay Sam Smith; Mercury Prize-shortlisted rapper Loyle Carner; contemporary soul stalwart Michael Kiwanuka; and electronic music boundary-pushers Floating Points. Elsewhere, Yaeji and Benjamin Clementine will also be joining the bill.

Having built a reputation as one of Europe’s most eclectic summer events, this summer saw the likes of SZA, Kendrick Lamar, and Young Fathers perform on the Polish disused airstrip, over a long weekend which we hailed as “continually ahead of the curve in [its] blending of global rock, pop and hip hop alongside a healthy complement of homegrown acts”.

Early bird tickets for Open’er 2024 have sold out, but general sale is open now via the festival’s website. And if you already can’t wait for July, why not revisit all the fun of 2023’s festival below…
