Be Your Own Pet release new single ‘Big Trouble’

Nashville punks Be Your Own Pet have today shared a new track, the driving, anger-fuelled ‘Big Trouble’. Speaking about the single, vocalist Jemina Pearl states: “I live in a country that has taken away the basic human right to an abortion and then has the audacity to ask ‘why are you so angry?’. ‘Big Trouble’ is about how the daily injustices are all connected to the overarching societal issues of living in a patriarchy.”

It’s the latest to be taken from ‘Mommy’ - the first Be Your Own Pet album in over 15 years - and follow recent comeback singles ‘Hand Grenade’, ‘Worship The Whip’, and ‘Goodtime!’. Out on 25th August via Third Man Records, Be Your Own Pet will celebrate the release of ‘Mommy’ by embarking on their mammoth Teenage Heaven Tour later this year - check out their live dates below.
